Etihad offers 16 destinations in Maldives via Maldivian flights

Etihad Airways has revealed that travelers can now access 16 destinations in the Maldives through flights operated by the national airline, Maldivian.

The arrangements were made under a bilateral interline agreement with Etihad Airways. The agreement enables Etihad to serve 16 prominent tourist destinations in the Maldives, allowing its passengers to journey seamlessly from Velana International Airport (VIA) to the atolls in the Maldives under a unified ticket.

In a press release, General Manager at Maldivian Ibrahim Hamdhan Mohamed said that the interline agreement with Etihad brings forth exciting prospects for customers to connect and explore a network of 16 destinations across the Maldives.

Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), has increased its flight services to the Maldives on December 1. An additional four flights are scheduled on January 1, 2024, leading to a total of 14 weekly flights by the beginning of the next year.
