Maldives committed to fostering relations with Kuwait

The Maldives has expressed commitment to fostering the existing bilateral relations and close cooperation with Kuwait. The statement was made by Ambassador from the Maldives to Saudi Arabia Mohamed Khaleel during a meeting with the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Kuwait Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah after presenting his credentials as Non-Resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Maldives to Kuwait at a ceremony held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait.

During the ceremony, Minister Salem congratulated Ambassador Khaleel on the commencement of his term and wished him success in performing his duties. Ambassador Khaleel expressed gratitude to Kuwait for the longstanding and close relationship with the Maldives and conveyed greetings and warm facilitation from President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih to the government and citizens of Kuwait. He also expressed his commitment to fostering the existing bilateral relations and close cooperation between the two countries.

Ambassador Khaleel was also accompanied by Badoora Saeed who is the Minister-Counsellor at the Embassy of the Maldives in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
