The Maldives has participated in the World Chefs Congress and Expo 2022.
The world’s largest culinary congress and expo is being held this year from May 30 to June 2 at Abu Dhabhi, UAE. The event promote collaboration among industry professionals, build relationships, and set light to a shared vision for the future of hospitality.
The Maldives is represented at the event by Chefs Guild Maldives (CGM). The Maldivian delegation is led by President of CGM Mariyam Nooraddeen, executive committee members of CGM as well as 32 other chefs.
The team from the Maldives will take part in different activities carried out as part of the event. As such, some Maldivian chefs will take part in the competition seminar, which trains chefs appointed as judges of culinary competitions.
The World Chefs Congress and Expo 2022 will include keynote speeches and an educators forum with participation from 80 culinary schools from 50 countries. In addition, the event also includes a Global Chefs Challenge and the Billy Gallagher Young Chefs Forum.
