Saudi government donates 200 Iftar packages to the Maldives - Photo: Islamic Ministry
The Government of Saudi Arabia has donated 200 Iftar packages to the Maldives.
The Iftar packages are a special donation by the King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The packages were officially handed over to the Ministry of Islamic Affairs by the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to the Maldives Matrek Abdullah Al-Ajalin Aldosari.
The Islamic ministry revealed the Iftar packages will be distributed among the poor. As such, the ministry said the packages will be provided to the largest families among those registered as poor.
