Vice President Faisal Naseem has concluded a four-day official visit to Dubai, UAE.
Vice President Naseem travelled to Dubai to participate in the World Government Summit 2022. During his visit, the vice president signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Maldives and the Government of the UAE on Experience Exchange on Government Development and Modernisation. The signing ceremony was held on the sidelines of the World Government Summit 2022.
Minister of Climate Change and Environment of UAE Mariam bint Mohammed Saeed Hareb Almheiri paid a courtesy call to the vice president where they discussed ways to improve collaboration on environmental issues between the two countries. The vice president also visited Expo 2020 Dubai and toured the pavilions.
Minister of Environment, Climate Change and Technology Aminath Shauna and the Secretary of Foreign Relations at the President’s Office Ibrahim Hood accompanied the vice president on his visit.
