USD 0.17 per share to be distributed from Ooredoo's profits

Ooredoo Maldives has decided to distribute USD0.17 per share from its profits in 2021. The decision was made at a meeting of the Board of Directors held on February 3.

Ooredoo said the profits of its shares for the year 2021 will be distributed to those registered as shareholders of the company before February 17, 2021. Although the Board of Directors has decided to distribute USD0.17 per share, the decision must be passed with the vote of shareholders at the Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Ooredoo said following the approval from the AGM, the profits of the shares will be distributed to shareholders in March this year. Ooredoo approved the distribution of USD0.15 per share as dividends at its annual general meeting last year.
