Coalition leaders praise the presidential address

Leaders of political parties in the government coalition have expressed praise for the presidential address delivered by President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih at the Parliament of the Maldives for the year 2022.

In a tweet, President of Adhaalath Party (AP) and Minister of Home Affairs Imran Abdulla said the presidential address was highly encouraging and promising for the nation. Imran said the address proved that President Solih has the capability of leading the nation even in the most adverse circumstances, noting his vision will help to carry the nation to the next level of development over the next two years.

Meanwhile, Leader of Maldives Reform Movement (MRM), former President Maumoon Abdul Gayyoom congratulated President Solih on an informative and strong presidential address. He said MRM, as a coalition partner of the government, is fully behind the president for the good of the nation.

In his presidential address, President Solih highlighted the plans of his administration for each individual sector and the strategies and policies in place for economic progress. He reiterated the commitment of his administration to addressing the most pertinent needs of the public and ensuring the well-being of the whole population.
