Ooredoo reopens application for board director

Ooredoo Maldives has reopened application for the post of the Director from the general shareholders.

Ooredoo first opened the application for the post in December last year. The telecommunication company revealed the application for the post is reopened due to the difficulties faced due to the increase in the community spread of COVID-19 in the Maldives.

The Qatar-based company said it is the utmost priority to act in the best interests of the shareholders and to provide equal opportunities to all shareholders with the ability to evolve to the needs of shareholders.

In addition, Ooredoo acknowledged the COVID-19 situation may have affected the ability of shareholders to obtain all the documents required to be submitted with the application form.

All interested shareholders are requested to apply for the Board of Directors before 1400 hours on January 27. Ooredoo has asked to ensure all supporting documents listed are submitted along with the application form.
