President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has appointed Abdulla Falah Shareef as the Deputy Minister of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure.
Falah was appointed to the position on January 17. With his appointment, the planning ministry now has 7 deputy ministers, in addition to 4 state ministers.
Falah had earlier served as the President of the Fuvahmulah Atoll Council and later as the Mayor of Fuvahmulah City.
