Maldives Industrial Fisheries Company (MIFCO) has announced its mobile application developed for fishermen named Masveringe App will come into use in the first quarter of the year.
Speaking on a programme aired on PSM News, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Ismail Fauzee said the application will provide access to the services by MIFCO to fishermen. MIFCO said payments can be made for fishermen through the application once it is launched.
MIFCO is currently depositing payments to fishermen's bank accounts online after purchasing fish. The state-owned company said several efforts are underway to improve its services, expressing the application will revolutionalise the services provided to fishermen.
MIFCO has been working hard to improve the quality of services provided by the company.
