Ministry of Gender, Family and Social Services has opened the opportunity for nominee submissions for Rehendhi Award 2022.
The Rehendhi Award is dedicated to women in the national service, the role of women in national development and community building, the protection of women's rights in society, and the individuals, institutions and organisations working for the advancement of women.
Rehendhi Award 2022 will be conferred in five categories including women-exclusive nominees, those providing employment opportunities to women and institutions, women's development committees, clubs and non-governmental organisations working towards women's development, and men and women from the general public who have contributed outstanding efforts for women's development The award is presented to individuals, institutions and organisations as well.
The gender ministry revealed applications for the Rehendhi Award are open until February 10. The ministry noted individuals may nominate themselves and others with opportunities also open for institutions, offices, companies, and committees to submit nominations.
