Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has issued an announcement seeking contractors for the development of a preschool in Hulhumale’ Phase II.
As per the announcement, the preschool is to be developed in a 22,000 sqft land plot. The project is expected to cost USD 1.75 million and must be completed within one and a half years.
HDC stated only 100% Maldivian companies are eligible to submit bids for the project. Bidders must also not have any ties with a staff or board member of HDC or a commercial partner of the corporation.
With recipients of Hiya flats starting to move to Hulhumale’ Phase II, the government has already contracted the development of two schools in the area.
