Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has changed its bus schedule in order for buses to arrive every 15 minutes during peak hours at the Hiya flat area in Hulhumale' Phase II.
MTCC established bus services at the Hiya flat on October 2, with buses arriving in the area every 30 minutes. However, MTCC made changes to its bus schedule in accordance with the increase in demand for bus services due to the increasing residential population in the area.
The updated bus schedule shows buses will arrive in the area every 15 minutes from 0545hrs to 0815hrs each day except for Fridays, as well as from 1115hrs to 1415hrs, and from 1500hrs to 2015hrs. On Fridays, buses are scheduled to arrive every 15 minutes from 1500hrs to 2115hrs.
MTCC has not yet established a bus route that travels directly between Male' City and Hulhumale' Phase II. Currently, passengers are required to travel from Male' City to specific bus stops in Hulhumale' Phase I and take another bus to Phase II.
