Elections Commission of the Maldives (ECM) has opened applications to contest for the vacant parliamentary seat for Komandoo constituency.
ECM announced the by-election for the vacant seat will be held on February 5, 2022. Application to contest for the seat has been opened until December 30.
The parliamentary seat for Komandoo constituency was vacated following the passing of late Parliamentarian Hussain Waheed on December 13.
