Health Protection Agency (HPA) has allowed cafes and restaurants to resume normal operations.
HPA had imposed several restrictions to the operations of cafes and restaurants following a surge of COVID-19 cases in the country earlier this year. As such, HPA had banned dine-in services, and restricted the hours for take-away and delivery services.
With the reduced number of cases, HPA has decided to lift the restrictions on cafes and restaurants. In this regard, HPA announced that cafes and restaurants are now allowed to resume their normal operations. However, the agency urged for adherence to its guidelines when providing services to the public.
After an extended ban on dine-in services, HPA allowed cafes and restaurants to reopen for dine-in last month.
