Vice President Faisal Naseem has stated every citizen needs to support the social development efforts in the country.
He made the statement during his meeting with the members of the Social Ethics Committee. The meeting was held to discuss holding programmes to eliminate unethical social behavior in the community as well as surveys and projects to identify and solve the various problems in Maldivian society.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice President Naseem inquired about the programmes that can be held for students during and after school. He also highlighted the importance of the involvement of every citizen in the efforts to solve the social problems in the community.
Furthermore, the vice president said President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih urges all sectors of the government to support the efforts towards social development. The main points of discussion at the meeting were on holding programmes and activities for school students and parents to teach and instill acceptable behavior and ethics in children.
