Foreign Relations Office now headed by Ibrahim Hood: Spokesperson

President's Office has handed over the overseeing of the Foreign Relations Office to its Chief Communications Strategist Ibrahim Hood.

The Foreign Relations Office was handed over to Hood following the appointment of Sabra Ibrahim Noordeen, who was previously heading the office, as the Special Envoy for Climate Change. The Spokesperson of the President's Office Mohamed Mabrook Azeez said Sabra was appointed as the Special Envoy for Climate Change after removing her from the post as the Secretary of the Foreign Relations Office.

The Special Envoy for Climate Change is an ambassadorial position equal in rank to Ministers of State.
