JSC clears misconduct allegations raised against Civil Court Chief Judge

Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has declared Chief Judge of the Civil Court of the Maldives Abdulla Ali not guilty of the misconduct allegations raised against him.

JSC began investigating the misconduct allegations against Judge Abdulla Ali in 2019. During the JSC meeting held on May 31, 2021, the commission declared that the allegations could not be proven.

JSC has not shared any additional details regarding the allegations against Judge Abdulla Ali.
