Applications open for the remaining vacancy at HRCM

The President’s Office has opened the opportunity to apply for the vacant membership position at the Human Rights Commission of the Maldives (HRCM).

On August 9, the President’s Office had opened applications to fill four membership positions, which were vacated following the resignation of three members and dismissal of one member. Among the applications received during this period, only three applications were approved by the Parliamentary Committee on Human Rights and Gender, and the remaining applications were rejected.

The President’s Office stated it will accept new applications for the remaining vacancy from September 21 to 23. Application forms are available for download at the website of the President’s Office.
