Aminath Ummu Kulsoom appointed to JSC

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has appointed Aminath Ummu Kulsoom as a member of the Judicial Service Commission (JSC).

President Solih presented the letter of appointment to Ummu Kulsoom during a special ceremony held at the President’s Office on August 6. Her oath was administered by Supreme Court Justice Mahaz Ali Zahir.

Ummu Kulsoom completed her Masters in Project Planning and Management from Bradford University, UK. Prior to this appointment, she was employed as a Deputy Director at the National Centre for the Arts, administrated under the Ministry of Arts, Culture and Heritage. She had also previously held senior positions at the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Gender and the Ministry of Education.
