Vice President Faisal Naseem has visited the National Thalassaemia Centre, to identify the challenges and difficulties faced by the institution in providing its services.
During his visit, the vice president met with some patients and inquired about their health and the quality of the service provided to them at the institution. The vice president also met with the management and staff of the institution and inquired about the difficulties faced by the institution in providing its services. He acknowledged their concerns, stating the administration will work with relevant stakeholders to address them, giving special precedence to easing problems stemming from space constraints.
Vice President Faisal Naseem was accompanied on the visit by the Minister of Health Abdulla Ameen, and the Minister of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure Mohamed Aslam.
