CMEC donates additional medical supplies to the Maldives

China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC) has donated additional medical supplies to the Maldives to assist the efforts of the country to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic.

CMEC donated medical supplies to Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Gender, Family and Social Services, Maldives Immigration and Maldives Customs Service. The items donated by the company include personal protective equipment (PPE), face masks and goggles.

CMEC has previously donated PPE to frontline workers serving at ADK Hospital. The company also plans to donate essential supplies for individuals who are under the care of the gender ministry due to the COVID-19 situation. The items are expected to be handed over to the gender ministry next week.
