Children's Day is celebrated in the Maldives on May 10. Although several celebratory activities are usually held to mark the occasion, Children's Day has come amid the COVID-19 pandemic this year, forcing healthcare workers, security forces and other frontline workers to spend the day away from family and loved ones.
