National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has provided assistance to families affected in the fire that occurred last night in a house in Male' City.
According to NDMA, it has provided temporary shelters to 6 individuals in addition to financial assistance. The authority will provide a financial support of USD 100 for each victim to buy clothing items. NDMA has requested the people affected by the fire to repair the house as soon as possible in order for them to move back.
The incident occured on the first floor of G. Preside, when the D-board at the house caught fire. While no one was injured, a washing machine and some clothing items were destroyed in the incident.
