Economic ministry stops issuing certain permits under amended policies

Ministry of Economic Development has amended policies in a way shops selling imported products and businesses running eateries do not have to take an additional permit.

The economic ministry said registered companies can conduct businesses without an additional permit under the new policies formed under the Business Registration Act. The ministry also revealed it has now stopped issuing permits for certain businesses, adding companies no longer need permits to sell imported products, running eateries and canteens.

Furthermore, the economic ministry has also stopped taking the monthly trade fees from businesses.
