Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has completed the renovation of the harbour in Madifushi, Thaa Atoll.
MTCC said the company was tasked with the construction of a rock-boulder breakwater and a 100-metre quay wall in Madifushi harbor, on August 27. The company stated the project was completed on December 7. The total cost of the renovation amounts to over USD 414,000.
Ministry of National Planning and Infrastructure had recently contracted MTCC with projects involving the construction or renovation of harbours in seven other islands.
