Judicial Services Commission (JSC) has decided to launch investigations into disciplinary cases against three judges and a magistrate.
The judicial watchdog, JSC, has decided to probe a judge from the Criminal Court, two judges from the Civil Court and the Chief Magistrate of Dhanbidhoo Magistrate Court in Laamu Atoll. JSC made the decision during its 65th meeting attended by 6 members.
In the meeting it was finalised to probe two cases against Chief Magistrate Ahmed Shareef of Dhanbidhoo Magistrate Court and three other judges.
The commission further informed 31 cases were discussed in the meeting.
