The President's Office opened opportunity to apply for the two vacant seats following the resignation of Ismail Sofwan and Hassan Nabaah. Sofwan and Nabah submitted their resignation after the Parliamentary Committee on Independent Commissions decided to submit a no confidence motion against them.
