Two Deputy Commissioners appointed for Maldives Customs Service

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has appointed two deputy commissioners at Maldives Customs Service.

The newly appointed deputy commissioners are Abdulla Shareef and Mohamed Maaniu. They received the letter of appointment from Commissioner General of Customs Ahmed Nu’uman.

Abdulla Shareef was serving as a Senior Superintendent prior to his appointment as the deputy commissioner. He had served Maldives Customs Service for 27 years.

Meanwhile, Mohamed Maaniu was serving as a Superintendent before his appointment as the deputy commissioner. He had served Maldives Customs Service for 16 years. He had previously served at Maldives Police Service for 13 years,
