Maldives and Singapore have held extensively discussions on areas of mutual interest between both countries, encompassing such topics as human resource development, rehabilitation, health, and higher education.
During a courtesy call on Vice President of Faisal Naseem at President's Office, Non-Resident Ambassador of Singapore Chua Thian Poh expressed hope of working closely with Maldives and further consolidating existing bilateral relations between the two countries.
