Acting Commissioner of Police Mohamed Hameed has refuted rumours the Police Academy established in Addu City is influenced by India.
During the current visit to Addu City and Fuvahmulah City, acting Commissioner Hameed met with the Addu City Council where the members informed the commissioner on the concerns raised by the public. Responding to the concerns, he dismissed rumours the Police Academy built in Addu City is influenced by India.
The acting commissioner stated he has requested President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih to utilise the land the academy is built for other offices as well.
