Ministry of Economic Development has decided to hold a business forum targeted for local businessmen.
The economic ministry said the forum is held to inquire about the challenges faced for businesses and to amend the policies formulated in the sector. The business convention will be held on February 26 and 27, according to the economic ministry.
The ministry has opened until February 14 to participate and submit papers for the forum. Businesses can submit papers on topics such as enhancing guesthouse business, enhancing small and medium sized enterprises, farming and utilising information communication technology in businesses, according to the ministry.
Moreover, the ministry said papers can be prepared on businesses run by women and the tax system. The economic ministry noted the papers will be discussed during the forum and utilised when formulating regulations and policies in the future.
