Presidential Commission utilises assistance from Ugail in investigations

Presidential Commission on Investigation of Murder and Enforced Disappearances announces it is working with renowned Professor Hassan Ugail in solving relevant cases.

In a tweet, Chair of the Commission Husnul Suood said Professor Hassan Ugail is assisting in the identification of some suspects. Confirming the commission is working with the prominent professor, Husnul Suood said some videos have already been sent to the UK upon the request of Professor Ugail.

Computer Scientist Ugail is a Professor at the School of Engineering and Visual Computing at Bradford University in the UK. Earlier, Ugail has offered his assistance for the investigations into the murders of Parliamentarian Dr. Afrasheem Ali and blogger Yameen Rasheed, and the disappearance of journalist Ahmed Rilwan.

It is reported Ugail will be assisting the commission in face recognition and in lie detection. He has assisted murder investigations in several countries using the face recognition system.
