Vice President visits Fuvahmulah City

Vice President of Maldives Faisal Naseem has visited government offices and health centres in Fuvahmulah as part of his official visit to the city.

In his official visit to Fuvahmulah, the vice president met with the council members and inquired about the situation of the city. In addition, the vice president visited the detoxification centre, assessed the institution and met with the staff. During the meeting, the staff told the vice president about the challenges faced in providing services from the centre.

Moreover, the vice president visited the Atoll Hospital and met with some inpatients and also with the staff of the facility. In addition to the hospital and detoxification centre, Vice President Faisal Naseem visited the Family and Children Service Centre. He also visited the Fuvahmulah School area to assess the situation of the city’s roads.

The vice president is accompanied by Minister of Gender, Family and Social Service Shidhatha Shareef and other government officials. Prior to visiting Fuvahmulah, the vice president travelled to Addu and visited different institutions in the city.
