Minister of Economic Development Fayyaz Ismail has said amendments to relevant laws and regulations will be submitted to Parliament to solve issues faced for businesses.
Speaking to PSM News following a meeting held with businesswomen, Economic Minister Fayyaz Ismail revealed discussions were held during the meeting to solve the issues faced for women in businesses, adding solving such issues need legal amendments. The economic minister assured to submit the amendments to the parliament in the coming days. He noted during the meeting he has realised most challenges are faced in small and medium sized businesses.
The government has revealed plans to review and access regulation and laws relevant to businesses within the first 100 days of the administration.
