The First lady Fathimath Ibrahim has concluded her visit to Haa Alifu Atoll.
The First Lady was visiting the islands in the atoll, as part of her ongoing campaign to meet the elderly community, women, council members and officials of the government institutes. During the trip First lady Fathimath Ibrahim visited Utheemu and Dhidhoo Islands of Haa Alifu Atoll today. She was warmly welcomed on arrival by a large number of residents from both islands.
The First Lady was presented with two separate commemorative gifts from the island council and by the women of the Utheemu Island. During the visit, the First Lady visited homes of people with special needs and inquired about their problems. She also met with the elderly community, women, island council members and officials.
