President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has said his official visit to Pakistan will further strengthen relations between the two countries.
The President made the remarks in a social media post following his arrival in Pakistan for the official visit.
President Muizzu described the visit as a great honour and expressed his sincere gratitude to the Government and people of Pakistan for the warm welcome extended to him.
He said he hoped the visit would provide an opportunity for important meetings and discussions to further strengthen bilateral relations and enhance cooperation between the two countries.
President Muizzu is visiting Pakistan at the invitation of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif. During the visit, the two countries are scheduled to sign memoranda of understanding to strengthen cooperation across various sectors.
