Male’ Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC) and the Maumoon Foundation have signed an agreement to provide higher education opportunities.
The agreement was signed by MWSC’s Managing Director Hussain Fahmy, while the Maumoon Foundation was represented by its Vice Chairman Faris Maumoon.
According to MWSC, the agreement aims to support and facilitate higher education opportunities and is part of MWSC’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
Under the agreement, a scholarship will be provided for a student pursuing a master’s degree programme at the Maldives National University. The scholarship is intended to support the development of skilled professionals in the Maldives.
The Maumoon Foundation is an organisation established by former President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom for community and social work.
