The cruise liner MS Crystal Symphony arrived in Malé, carrying hundreds of international tourists.
The vessel arrived from Mahé, Seychelles with 548 passengers and 489 crew members on board. Officers of the Seaport Division of Maldives Immigration successfully facilitated en-route immigration clearance for all passengers and crew, ensuring a smooth and efficient entry process upon arrival.
The clearance procedures enabled passengers to disembark without delay, providing significant convenience to both tourists and vessel operators.
MS Crystal Symphony is the sixth cruise liner to Maldives this year. It is among the major cruise liners operating in the region, reflecting the Maldives’ continued appeal as a key destination for international cruise tourism.
Tourism authorities report steady growth in visitor arrivals this year, with the country welcoming a significant increase in international tourists compared to the same period last year.
