President extends Ramadan greetings to leaders of Islamic countries

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has conveyed greetings and felicitations on the holy month of Ramadan 1447 AH to the Heads of State and Government of Muslim countries, as well as to Islamic international organisations, on behalf of the Government and the people of the Maldives.

In separate messages addressed to leaders of the Muslim world, the President expressed his sincere hope that Ramadan will serve to further unite the Muslim Ummah in solidarity and shared purpose. He underscored the importance of collective strength, noting that together the voices of Muslims resonate more powerfully, and together Islamic nations can broaden the horizons of progress and prosperity for the Ummah.

The President also offered prayers for peace and relief for Muslim brothers and sisters facing unjust suffering. He prayed for the easing of their hardships and for the strengthening of their resolve during this sacred month.

Ramadan, observed by Muslims worldwide, is a period of fasting, reflection, charity, and spiritual renewal, reinforcing the values of compassion, unity, and devotion.
