Public Service Media (PSM) has announced an extension for the application deadline of its prestigious PSM Media Fellowship 2025, offering aspiring young journalists more time to apply for the six-month intensive training programme.
The fellowship aims to cultivate skilled professionals in the media field, providing a unique pathway to a career in broadcasting and journalism.
The PSM Media Fellowship 2025 is meticulously designed to train and produce talented youth, equipping them with essential news and programme production skills. Under the guidance of national and international experts, participants will have the invaluable opportunity to develop a robust professional portfolio and gain practical experience by working across various PSM platforms.
A significant incentive of the programme is the potential for permanent employment at PSM for outstanding candidates who successfully meet the company's stringent criteria upon completion.
The programme seeks to recruit 15 participants, who will be deployed across PSM's TV Production and News and Current Affairs Departments. Fellows will commit to a six-hour workday and will receive a monthly salary of USD 324.25 supplemented by a fellowship allowance of USD 194.55.
Eligibility for the fellowship requires applicants to have completed their A/L examinations. The selection process will involve shortlisting based on educational experience, followed by an interview. Final candidates will be chosen on the basis of their educational certificates, relevant work experience, and interview performance.
Interested applicants are required to submit a comprehensive curriculum vitae, a copy of their national identity card, and attested copies of educational certificates. Additionally, documentation of any prior work experience and a police report dated within the last four months must also be provided.
