The Road Development Corporation Limited (RDC) has been awarded the contract to develop roads in Filladhoo, Haa Alifu Atoll.
The agreement was signed by the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Infrastructure’s State Minister Hassan Rasheed at a ceremony held on Sunday. RDC’s Managing Director Ibrahim Nazeem signed the agreement on behalf of the corporation.
The work, valued at USD 5,000,000, is scheduled to be completed within 730 days, the Ministry of Construction said.
The government continues to handover over road construction work in islands across the Maldives. The RDC has recently been awarded the contract for the construction for Phase 3 of road development in Kulhudhuffushi City and for projects in 11 islands across seven atolls.
