First Lady Sajidha Mohamed visited the Peranakan Museum in Singapore on Tuesday.
The First Lady was welcomed to the museum by Clement Onn, Director of the Asian Civilisations Museum and Peranakan Museum.
She received a guided tour of the museum and was briefed about the museum’s collections.
The museum exhibits the heritage of Peranakan communities in Southeast Asia, and provides a platform to discuss the history, identity and culture of these communities.
The First Lady is currently travelling with President Dr Mohamed Muizzu in Singapore on a four day state visit. President Dr Muizzu will end his first state visit to Singapore on Wednesday.
