“Life” bottling plant in K. Himmafushi conducting repairs

Island Beverages Company Pvt Ltd says it is working to fix a broken pipeline at its "Life" water bottling plant in Himmafushi Island of Kaafu Atoll.

The company said the plant's pipeline network was damaged during the ongoing land reclamation work in the island.

Island Beverages said it is currently working to repair the damage and resolve the issue.

According to the company, it had to temporarily suspend its water supply service to households following the damage.

It said temporary repairs are being made to resume water supply services.

A spokesperson for the company told PSM News that the water bottling plant will resume to full capacity once the damaged pipeline is repaired.
