President Honours Top Students at High Achievers’ Award 2024

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu attended the fifth session of the High Achievers’ Award 2024, held to honour students who achieved the highest results in the 2023 and 2024 Secondary and Higher Secondary examinations.

The ceremony, held at the Maldives Centre for Social Education (MCSE), honoured students who ranked among the national top 10, achieved first place, or received international accolades in these examinations.

As the Guest of Honour, President Dr Muizzu presented awards to two students who received the “Outstanding Pearson Learner Award” for ranking first globally in the Higher Secondary examinations. He also presented awards to 57 students who ranked first worldwide in individual subjects of the Secondary examinations, and to 21 students who achieved the highest scores among the national top 10 in the Secondary examinations. Furthermore, the President awarded prizes and scholarship letters to 11 students who secured the top position among the national top 10 in the Higher Secondary examinations, granting them the Presidential Scholarship.

The administration remains committed to enhancing the quality of education, strengthening academic foundations, and expanding access to higher education and training opportunities for Maldivian youth.
