Local band, 2 of Us has advanced to the Finale of the Battle of the Bands International held in India.
Out the 12 bands participating in the competition, only five advanced to the Grand Finale, including 2 of Us. The top three winners will be chosen in the Grand Finale.
2 of Us has been delivering electrifying performances throughout the competition. So far, all the performances from the band in the competition have been well received by the judges and the audience, and especially fans back home in the Maldives.
Following their qualification for the Grand Finale, 2 of Us dedicated their success to all Maldivian striving to develop their talents. The band’s performance in the competition has proven that Maldivian music can go up against international competitors, the band said.
While 2 of Us continues to gain international exposure, the band’s fan base back in the Maldives continues to grow. The band's performances have been praised by many on social media.
2 of Us performs both Dhivehi and Hindi songs at the Battle of the Bands. Judges have consistently appreciated the band's talent. Renowned Indian music composer and a judge on the show, Anu Malik commented that 2 of Us is the most talented band he has seen in recent times.
