PSM news has celebrated its seventh anniversary in a vibrant and colorful manner, showcasing its dedication to delivering news and current affairs 24 hours a day.
The anniversary festivities included the participation of well-known TV anchors and news casters, who aired news segments in honor of the occasion. An official ceremony, officiated by the Vice President, marked the milestone, along with a lively "Staff Night" that featured various activities, including employee appreciation and performances.
Speaking at the event, Managing Director of PSM Zeena Zahir, expressed heartfelt gratitude for the news team's unwavering commitment and diligence in the face of challenges. She also announced plans to establish bureaus in three new areas within the next three months, aiming to strengthen and fortify the news team's capabilities.
Moreover, Deputy Managing Director Abdulla Yameen highlighted the positive changes PSM news has undergone over the past seven years, attributing the success to the hard work and unity of the news team. He introduced PSM news awards for the first time, recognizing excellence in various categories.
