First Lady emphasises children to be raised within Islamic framework

First Lady Sajidha Mohamed has emphasised on the importance of ensuring that the upbringing of children is within the Islamic framework. The remarks were made during the graduation ceremony of Chimes Pre-School.

During the ceremony, First Lady Sajidha exhorted students to strive for knowledge, heeding the guidance of their parents and teachers. She also stressed the necessity of reducing the screen time of children. Shedding light on the significance of spending time with children, she urged parents and teachers to instil Islamic morals and values. On this note, she recognised that teachers are the second parents of students and expressed her heartfelt appreciation to all the teachers as well.

First Lady Sajidha handed the awards and scrolls to 23 pre-school graduates. She also was gifted a special drawing from the students of the school.

There are currently 117 students enrolled in Chimes Pre-School.
