Leader of Jumhooree Party Qasim Ibrahim affirmed that the results of the parliamentary elections stand as a testament to the unwavering trust and confidence the citizens have placed in President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu. These remarks were shared on social media, celebrating and acknowledging the present administration's achievement of a super majority in the parliamentary elections.
In his post, Qasim underscored that the super majority achieved by the ruling People's National Congress (PNC), stands as a clear indicator of the citizen's confidence and support for President Muizzu. He also extended congratulations to President Muizzu, leadership of PNC and all members who secured seats in the elections.
Moreover, Qasim reiterated that President Muizzu's diligent and sincere efforts were evident and played a decisive role throughout the presidential election 2023 and the parliamentary elections 2024. He emphasised that no seats were specifically reserved, and the victory is solely based on the resident's support and the effective leadership provided by President Muizzu.
Furthermore, Qasim addressed allegations aimed at President Muizzu during the parliamentary elections. He further asserted that the outcomes of the parliamentary elections indicate that the populace of the Maldives rejects the persistent allegations and dissemination of inaccurate information regarding President Muizzu's leadership.
