Bank of Maldives (BML) has announced the opening hours during the month of Ramadan and the first seven days of Shawwal will be from 0930-1200hrs.
BML stated that Overseas Transfers (TT), BML Cheque Processing Pay Roll for employee salary deposit, Local Transfer and Payments Offers received before 1100hrs and deposit cheque will be processed on the same day. Meanwhile, cheque from other banks will be processed on the same day if submitted before 0900hrs. Requests received after these times will be processed the next day the bank opens.
BML has asked customers to access banking services through the BML internet and mobile banking application. BML self-service banking centres across the country will continue to provide deposit, withdrawal and transfer services 24 hours a day. Cash Agents on inhabited islands will also be available to provide basic banking services to customers. The bank will continue to provide services to customers through its contact centre during Ramadan.
